The game's plot tells us the story of a little girl who woke up in an old, abandoned house. The only clues are remnants of her diary, which is torn and scattered all throughout the dark corners of the building. To remember everything and to get out of prison she will need to find all the leaves of the diary and scraps in the hands of monsters wandering in the corridors. Dear diary is a 2D horror top-view, and the task is illuminating the dark corners of the room with candles to look for scraps of memories embodied in the diary.
